Community Impact
The Downey Police Officers Association (DPOA) is proud to support our community through partnerships with various charitable organizations. Our members are dedicated to making a positive impact both on and off duty, contributing time, resources, and funding to causes that matter most to our community.
Our commitment extends beyond our local community to support organizations that honor fallen officers and provide crucial assistance to law enforcement families nationwide. We are proud to partner with established foundations that share our values of service, sacrifice, and support for those who protect and serve.
Through our ongoing partnerships with the National Law Enforcement Officers' Memorial Fund (NLEOMF), California Peace Officers' Memorial Foundation (CPOMF), 9-99 Foundation, and Officer Down Memorial Page (ODMP), we help ensure that no officer's sacrifice is forgotten and that their families receive the support they deserve.
The mission of the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund is to generate increased public support for the law enforcement profession by permanently recording and appropriately commemorating the service and sacrifice of law enforcement officers; and to provide information that will help promote law enforcement safety. - NLEOMF
